Lenovo has launched the Vibe X3 in India today priced at Rs 19,999 and it does come with a premium appeal attached to it. The Vibe X3 will be the latest premium offering from the Chinese company and it does come packed with features that one would typically expect from the top of the range phones.

The Lenovo Vibe X3 is equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD display and is powered by a 64-bit hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor mated with 3GB of RAM. On the storage front, the Vibe X3 offers 32GB of storage along with a microSD card slot to accommodate additional memory.

The Vibe X3 boasts of a 21-Megapixel primary sensor and an 8-Megapixel secondary sensor along with an ability to record 4K videos. Lenovo has been ahead of the curve when it comes to audio features on the phone and the Vibe X3 is no different. The smartphone comes with a Dolby Atmos dual speaker setup at the front and it also bundles headphones which according to Lenovo has the best DACs for lossless playback. The best part is that the Vibe X3 uses two DAC, one for calling and recording audio and another for the audio playback, the operational amplifiers for the DAC will cleverly switch the control from one audio controller to another after a call.

The Lenovo Vibe X3 will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop flavored with Vibe UI. The Vibe X3 had been showcased in the CES 2016 and it seems that Lenovo is trying to move towards the stock Android approach and maybe it is borrowing a thing or two from its own Motorola. On the connectivity front, the phone comes with the standard set of features including 4G LTE connectivity and the NFC. In order to keep pace with its competitors, Lenovo Vibe X3 also incorporates a fingerprint sensor at the back. At its price point, the Vibe X3 competes directly with the hugely impressive Qiku Q Terra which is priced at Rs 21,999 (Rs 19,999 with an invite).

In India, Lenovo has been aggressive in the affordable handset segment, it has been doing well with offerings like Vibe P1 and the Vibe K4 Note. Globally though, Lenovo saw a drop in the total Year-on-Year sales last year and this seems to be the very reason why the company is trying to gain a foothold in the affordable smartphone market.

The Lenovo Vibe X3 will be available on Amazon and will go on sale at 2PM starting tomorrow, i.e January 28th 2016.
