Huawei has launched the Honor Holly 2 Plus in India which would succeed the Honor Holly launched almost two years ago. The Honor Holly was a well specced entry level Android smartphone which badly needed an upgrade to match pace with its competitors.

The Honor Holly Plus 2 is fitted with a 5-inch HD display and it comes powered by a quad core MediaTek6735 SoC paired with a 2GB of RAM. The Holly Plus 2 offers 16GB of on board storage along with a microSD card slot that can fit in up to 128GB. On the imaging front the Holly Plus 2 sports a 13-Megapixel primary sensor and a 5-Megapixel secondary sensor.

On the design front, the Honor Holly 2 looks decent, the textured design on the back panel hide the polycarbonate body and add a dash of elegance. The Honor Holly 2 Plus will run Android Lollipop alongside the EMUI and will be backed by a 4000mAh battery pack. The smartphone also features the standard connectivity options including the 4G LTE support and the dual-SIM support.

Honor has also made some interesting amends in the warranty terms as the Honor Holly Plus 2 will come with a 15-months warranty as opposed to the traditional 12-month warranty and also includes a display replacement for free if damaged within 30 days.

The Holly 2 Plus will rival the likes of Yu Yuphoria, Redmi Note 2 Prime and the Coolpad Note 3. The Honor Holly 2 Plus will be available on Flipkart and Amazon starting February 16th.
