LeEco had a successful run in India after it recently introduced the LeMax and the Le 1s. The Le 1S especially has helped the company to put itself on the map when it comes to Indian market. While the Le 1s still seems to be selling steadily what’s eye-catching is the upcoming Le 2, pictured in a TENAA certification.

The Le 2 is most likely to come equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD display and is expected to be powered by the Helio X20 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz as opposed to the Helio X10 in the Le 1s. The RAM stands at 3GB and on the storage front the device offers 32GB of Internal storage. That being said, the Le 2 somewhat resembles the HTC One M8 and also picks some design cues from its predecessor.

The imaging department is something to look forward to, the Le 2 is expected to tout a 16-Megapixel primary sensor and 8-Megapixel secondary sensor. Le 2 comes with dimensional attributed of 151.1 x 74.1 x 7.7mm and weighs in at 153gms. The TENAA listing further also reveals a 3000mAh battery pack. Since the smartphone has already cleared TENAA it’s only a matter of time before its formally announced and once again the price point at which it sells will make a huge difference especially in the non-Chinese market wherein it sells as a standalone device.

On the contrary we don’t see substantiated differences between the Le 1s and the Le 2, which might prove difficult for the company to get users upgrade from the Le 1s. It seems LeEco has always been bullish when it comes to the Indian market and as a result it is apparently in talks with the Ministry to start productions in India.
