Motorola’s Moto X Force made it to the headlines quite often, thanks to its shatterproof display that inspired many of us to push the phone to its limits. The Moto X Force retailed at a launch price of Rs 49,999 and now the company has decided to slash down the price by a whopping Rs 15,000 for the 32GB variant and Rs 16,000 for the 64GB variant, bringing the effective price down to Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999 respectively.

The price cut seems to be effective only for the Indian market and the company hopes that the reduced price might succeed in attracting buyers for the Moto X Force. A quick recap on specs, 5.4-inch QHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 810, 3GB of RAM, 21-Megapixel primary sensor with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording and a 5-Megapixel secondary camera. The Moto X Force runs on Android Marshmallow and is backed up by a generous 3760mAh battery.

The Moto ShatterShield display technology used in the Moto X Force comes with a five layer of protection by a material that can absorb the impact and dissipate the stresses accordingly. Motorola has been touting about the Shatterproof display so much so that it has ironically become the only talking point about the phone. We subjected the Moto X Force to a rather gruesome test and it did fare surprisingly well for the most part of it making it one of the toughest daily driver smartphones.

If you were deliberating buying a Moto X Force due to its price tag, then this might be the best chance for going for one. The Moto X Force 32GB and the 64GB variants are both available on Flipkart and Snapdeal, and the company says that the offer will be valid till the stocks last.
