LeEco has launched both the Le 2 and the Le Max 2 in India today. The Le Max 2 will be the flagship offering from the company and as expected it comes studded with top end specs including a 6GB RAM and a Snapdragon 820. The 32GB storage/4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 22,999 and the top of the line 64GB storage/6GB RAM costs a premium at Rs 29,999.

Le Max 2 will be succeeding the Le Max and will shape up as a premium offering from LeEco. The device comes equipped with a larger 5.7-inch QHD bezel-less display and is powered by the mighty Snapdragon 820 which is in turn paired with 6GB/4GB of RAM. The graphics department is handled by the Adreno 530. The Le Max 2 comes in two avatars one with 32GB/4GB and the other with 64GB/6GB, however neither of the variants include an expandable memory card slot. The storage on the Le Max 2 supports UFS 2.0 standards which literally translates into better transfer speeds.

On the imaging front the Le Max 2 features a 21-Megapixel primary sensor with OIS, f/2,0 and dual-LED flash while the secondary camera shapes up in the form of 8-Megapixel sensor. The Le Max 2 also runs on EUI wrapped around Android Marshmallow and is backed up by a 3,100 mAh battery pack. Le Max 2 also comes with a free one-year membership for the the bundled content.

On the connectivity front the Le Max 2 touts a dual Nano SIM card slot, Quick Charge 3.0, USB Type-C and the CDLA standard, which requires one to plug in the audio to the Type-C slot thus resulting in better audio quality. However the exclusion of 3.5-mm audio jack might not go well with the buyers since not only do they need to purchase the CDLA Type-C earphones but they will also not be able to connect the device to AUX input. With the starting price of Rs 22,999 Le Max 2 is expected to go loggerheads with the likes of Xiaomi Mi 5 and the upcoming OnePlus 3. The LeEco Le Max 2 will be available on both Flipkart and the LeMall.

Additionally, LeEco has also introduced LeMall, an ecommerce destination wherein one can purchase the LeEco products, similar to the Xiaomi’s Mi Store. Talking about the LeMall, the CDLA Type-C earphones are available on the LeMall at Rs 1,990.
