Nearly five years after the first release of the ADW Launcher 1.0, the developer has reemerged out of thin year only to make an even better launcher. The launcher in question is none other than ADW 2.0, a launcher which had been down the pipeline for just too long.

For those unaware, ADW Launcher was one of the most sought after launchers back in the day. Those were the times when Android as a platform was just evolving and the Playstore lacked the vast array of apps like now days. The reincarnation of the launcher which has amassed over 10 million downloads over the past few years is definitely a great news and as expected it comes with a number of new features.

ADW Launcher 2.0 includes a number of changes and now allows you configure almost everything out there, starting from the app drawer to folders. In fact, it’s pretty simple to make your phone looks the way you want with the granular customisation features of this launcher. There’s also a premium version of launcher priced at $3.99 which comes with features like more desktop transitions, more drawer stile, filters and compositions for icons, unlimited widgets among others.

The launcher isn’t yet available for download directly on the Playstore, however you can always download it by opting to become a Beta Tester at the ADW Blog here. Besides, you can download the apk file directly from APK Mirror. Keeping the launcher aside, ADW has also launcher a number of brand plugins for DropBox, Google Drive, OneDrive and Box. There’s also a new ADW Extension Pack and a ADW Notifier 2.
