The details about the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 have been leaked on the Chinese social network, Weibo via an image of the retail box. Since the Redmi Note 3 has been hugely popular with the buyers it inadvertently Redmi Note 4 is burdened with the task of keeping it up with the legacy.
The specifications we are talking about includes a 5.5-inch display and a MediaTek Helio X20 SoC alongside 3GB of RAM. It is quite possible that the Indian variant might be powered by a Snapdragon equivalent. On the memory front, the phone is said to offer 64GB of internal memory. Even here it is most likely that Xiaomi might offer two variants of the Redmi Note 4, one with 32GB of internal memory and the other with 64GB.
The camera unit consists of a 13-Megapixel primary camera and a 5-Megapixel secondary sensor. The device will be backed by a 4,100mAh battery pack and will expectedly run MIUI 8. The rumor mills have been actively talking about the Redmi 4 and the most recent ones claimed that Redmi Note 4 will come with dual cameras and a metal body. That being said we also don’t have to keep guessing for long since the Redmi Note 4 is slated to launch on 27th of July.
In all likelihood, Xiaomi might price the Note 4 such that it would directly rival the LeEco Le 2 and the Honor 5C, which come with almost similar specifications. We also hope that Xiaomi introduces the Redmi Note 4 without much of a delay after the actual China launch. Xiaomi is pitching its products aggressively and has been trying hard to reclaim its lost grounds in the sub 10k category. The recently launched MIUI 8 is also expected to be one of the highlights of the Redmi Note 3.
