Xiaomi has announced new In-ear headphones, Mi Pro HD. The headphones are priced at Rs 1,999 and come clad in a new exterior. Mi Pro HD will be available on mi.com. The headphones seem to have taken design cues from the Mi Pro and come with a stretchable matte wiring which is dirt and tangle resistant. The earphones are further calibrated to ear cavity measurements and employ 45-degree in-ear design for better ergonomics. The ear buds themselves are made out of medical grade silicon.
The Mi Pro HD features a hybrid dual-dynamic and balanced armature drives, the dual dynamic drive helps in keeping the bass and the mid tones in check while the balanced armature helps in retaining the details of the high notes, all of this helps in achieving something called as Tri-Band Equalisation. Furthermore, the balanced armature also enhances your music experience with drum beats that blend with the music in a much better and natural way. The driver is manufactured using graphene materials which are known to produce richer and sharper sounds. The exoskeleton of the headphones is finished with zircon sand blasting and CNC diamond cut finish. The Aerospace-grade metal diaphragm delivers a better sound in the mid and bass ranges. Acoustic tuning on the Mi Pro HD has been conducted by Grammy award-winning tuner, Luca Bignari.
Xiaomi Mi Pro HD comes equipped with MEMS microphone that has a 58dB signal to noise ratio and this helps it in enabling better voice quality with lesser noise interference. The Wired remote comes with three buttons, one for answering calls, music playback and volume adjustments, however, one needs to remember that the buttons won’t work on the iOS. Xiaomi has included three different ear bud sizes and has been angled to ensure that the bud doesn’t slip.
