Last week the Moto Z2 Force was leaked in full glory and this time around, the Moto Z2 Force has been pictured in a render. As you may have already noticed, the Moto Z2 Force is pretty much similar to its predecessor and is also expected to come with new Moto mods. That being said, one of the most evident changes in the Moto Z2 Force is the comeback of the 3.5mm jack which was altogether ditched on the last year’s Moto Z series.
Now if you have been staying away from the Moto Z Series due to the lack of the 3.5mm headphone jack, perhaps it’s time that you reconsider and take a look at the Z2 Force once it’s officially launched. The design elements are a mishmash between that of the latest Moto G5 Plus and the Moto G4 from the last year. The antenna lines on the top and the bottom may have been replaced with a single thin band that runs across the device. The redesigned antenna lines are expected to result in better radio signal access and will usher Cat 16 speeds on the Moto Z2 Force.
Other specifications of the Moto Z2 Force include a Snapdragon 835 processor. Sprint had earlier announced that it has partnered with Qualcomm and Motorola with regards to its LTE program even before launching the Moto Z. The previous leaks have already pointed at the possibility of a dual camera setup of the back with dual-LED flash on the front, new fingerprint scanner below the display and a power button that is placed below the volume buttons. Needless to say, the new Moto Z2 Force will come with a shatterproof display.
The pogo pins along with the flat surface are designed to accommodate the Moto mods and the Moto Z2 Force is speculated to be bigger than its predecessor and will sport a 5.5-inch display. However, the Moto Z2 Force has become thinner than the Z Force and excluding the camera bump the phone measures at 5.99mm thickness. It’s also unclear whether the Moto Z2 Force will come equipped with the 3,500mAh battery or a smaller one.
