Benefits of Airtel Project Next
Airtel has updated the MyAirtel app to display all the new plans and special offers in a much better way. Now one might be wondering what’s in store for them as Airtel Postpaid users. First things first Airtel has now announced that users will be allowed to carry forward their unused monthly data quota to the next billing cycle up to 200GB. The data carry over will help Postpaid users use their leftover data in the upcoming billing cycle and will be automatically activated from August 1st. That being said, Airtel had announced the data carry over feature for its prepaid connections a long time ago but somehow Postpaid users were deprived of the same, until now.
Airtel has also announced that it will be making amends to the family connections. Users will be allowed to add their family members from the MyAirtel app and share their Postpaid data connections. Unlike before accessing this feature will not require any paperwork. Also, the transition from Prepaid to Postpaid will not require any sort of paperwork and can be done from the My Airtel app.
Yet another mention worthy service is the Airtel Secure promise. Airtel will not only provide a digital protection suite but it will also arrange for pick-up and drop of the device to the authorised service center in case of accidental damage. This service is offered at Rs 49 month and will also bundle 2GB of cloud backup space. The digital protection suite comes baked in with Norton Mobile Security Suite and offers anti-malware protection. Airtel has been trying to reinvent itself since the advent of Jio. The suite of apps and products will put Airtel in direct competition with the Jio.
