Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is finally here. The phablet was launched alongside the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. It is the successor to the last year’s Mi Note 2. The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will sit at the top of the company’s flagship lineup. It will be available for sale in China on September 12.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is a beautiful looking smartphone that draws its design inspiration from the Mi6. You may end up confusing it with its smaller sibling if you take a quick glance at it’s from a distance. That said, the footprint of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is markedly larger. This is due to the presence of a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD display. Xiaomi has also made some tweaks in the construction of its flagship phablet. The metal unibody Mi Note 3 is carved out of a 7th generation aluminum alloy. For the uninitiated, the Xiaomi Mi6 came with a stainless steel chassis.
Powering, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, one of the first smartphones to come with this SoC. This is the same chip that’s present inside the OnePlus 5 look alike Oppo R11. Furthermore, the Mi Note 3 comes with 6GB RAM to address your multitasking needs.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 comes with a dual 12MP rear camera that comes with 2X optical zoom. It packs the same pair of the sensors that are found in the Xiaomi Mi6. The dual camera setup of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 comprises of 12MP f/1.8 wide angle and a 12MP f/2.6 telephoto lens with OIS and PDAF sensor. Additionally, the phablet also features a 16MP front camera for taking selfies. It powered by an AI backed Beautify mode that helps capture amazing images. Xiaomi claims to have built different AI based algorithms for both men and women. This will further enhance the quality of the images and make it look life like.
