Honor MediaPad T3 and MediaPad T3 10 which were officially unveiled in India alongside the Honor 9i is finally available for sale. The new tablets belonging to Huawei sub-brand Honor’s MediaPad series are currently on sale exclusively on Flipkart, with prices starting from Rs 12,999.
The Honor MediaPad T3 is the successor to MediaPad T2 which was announced early last year. The tablet, however, failed to make its way to the country. Huawei is, in fact, launching a tablet in India after near about one and half years. That said, it is surprising to see bigshots like Huawei and Samsung still betting big on tablets, despite its dwindling market presence.
Both the MediaPads comes with a slim metal unibody design. The Honor MediaPad T3 10 is the bigger of the duo and sports a 9.6-inch HD IPS LCD display. On the other hand, the smaller MediaPad features a standard 8-inch HD panel with 16:10 aspect ratio. It’s, in fact, the only major difference between the two tablets.
The new MediaPads are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Additionally, the Honor MediaPad T3 10 comes with a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. Other features include a 5MP rear, 2MP front camera, 4,800mAh battery and single SIM with 4G VoLTE. The Huawei made tablets comes with built-in Microsoft Office. They also come with split screen functionality, a special kid’s corner, blue light filter and more.
