A couple of months ago, HTC launched the U11 flagship device and the company is already set to launch the HTC U11 Plus at an event on Thursday. As luck would have it Phandroid spotted a hands-on video that was posted on Facebook and made the copy of the same. The video gives us a generous glimpse at the upcoming HTC U11 Plus. The leak further corroborates with Evan Blass’s tweet that confirms the HTC U11 Plus will be available in Black, Silver and a Translucent color.
The HTC U11 touted an Edge Sense technology, a feature that has also been borrowed up by the latest HTC built Google Pixel 2. The video shows off a translucent HTC U 11 Plus with a circular coil design for wireless charging at the back. The device is glossy all over with a dark background. The video also spills the beans when it comes to specifications and confirms that the HTC U 11 Plus offers a 6-inch display, 128GB of storage and 4,000mAh battery.
Interestingly, T-Mobile leaked the spec sheet alongside a user guide for the HTC U11 Life, a mid-range offering based on the HTC U11 Plus. The HTC U11 Life is expected to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, NFC, 16-Megapixel camera setups at both front and back along with face detection technology. Furthermore, the HTC U11 Life will also come equipped with a 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot and a 2,600mAh battery.
Both the devices offer Edge Sensor technology which allows users to access quick commands by simply squeezing the phone. On the software front, the HTC U11 Life is expected to come with Android Nougat and the HTC U11 Plus will feature the latest Android Oreo. That apart the HTC U11 Plus is expected to cost 849 Swiss francs ($849/Rs 54,812) while the HTC U11 Life will retail at 349 Swiss francs ($348/Rs 22,532). The devices are expected to be launched tomorrow and that’s when HTC is also expected to share the global availability details. In the meanwhile, you can watch the leaked video below,
