Reliance Jio has yet again come up with a new data scheme. This time around they are calling it as the Happy New Year 2018 offer. The recently launched schemes bring in two new prepaid recharge denominations of Rs 199 and Rs 299 into the fray.
The new plans are mainly targeted at tech-savvy users who often end up consuming their 1GB daily data cap. It’s also worth noting that users need to be subscribed with Jio Prime membership to be eligible for these offers. Just like other Jio data plans, the Rs 199 and Rs 299 plans offer unlimited phone calls, messages and access to Jio’s premium apps. The main difference, however, lies in the daily data caps.
Under the Rs 199 plan, a Jio prepaid user can use up to 1.2GB of high-speed 4G data for 28 days, after which the data speeds would be reduced to 128kbps. Those recharging with Rs 299 would be eligible for an even higher data cap of 2GB per day for a total of 28 days. So, you no longer need to worry about exhausting your daily data caps.
Apart from these two, the Jio Happy New Year 2018 offer also includes the popular Rs 399 and Rs 459 plans. For the uninitiated, the Rs 399 plan offers up to 1GB of high-speed 4G data per day for 70 days along with unlimited free voice calling and SMS. The Rs 459 plans, on the other hand, offers the same benefits for a longer duration of 84 days. Additionally, under the Jio Happy New Year 2018 offer, the Mukesh Ambani led telecom startup is providing a Rs 149 plan for its budget-conscious customers. This plan enables users to utilize up to 4GB data over a span of 28 days.
