Xiaomi’s highly rumored forthcoming flagship — the Mi7 has been making appearances in various leaks for the last few weeks now. However, today, a new report has popped up which allegedly reveals almost every major specification of the phone. For starters, the Mi7 will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor and supposedly become the first one to launch with it.
On the front, the Mi7 will have a 5.6-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080. Judging from the resolution, the phone should come with a nearly bezel-less screen. There’s a massive 4480mAh battery, a whopping 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
Although it’s possible Xiaomi will have multiple variants and storage options. The screenshot available in the report suggests it will run on the company’s MIUI version 8.1. However, at the time of launch, we’re quite sure it will feature the latest MIUI9 considering it’s been months since Xiaomi officially unveiled the update. In addition to that, as per another report, the Mi7 is expected to flaunt an all-glass exterior just like its predecessor. Unfortunately, we’re yet to see it in any leaked renders or images.
On the rear, the Xiaomi Mi7 might sport a dual-camera arrangement. It will house two 16-megapixel sensors, one of which might be to collect additional depth information. While previously it was rumored that the Mi7 will be launched at this year’s Mobile World Congress, Xiaomi itself recently came forward a couple of days ago and refuted those claims. Therefore, it remains to be seen when exactly the Mi7 will be going public.
