The Orbi Pro Tri-Band WiFi system consists of an AC3000 router and is designed to cover an area spanning 5,000 square feet. The range can be further extended up to 10,000 with the help of two add-on satellites. The Fastlane technology ensures that the extender to your router offers a dedicated WiFI link. Adding to that, the Orbi Pro also offers an impressive set of features to monitor the network performance and also help the admin scale the network capabilities in order to match with the increasing demands. The Orbi Pro Tri-Band supports speeds of up to 3Gbps and offers a maximum of three SSIDs.
The Orbi Pro comes with pre-defined WiFi networks that segregate the traffic. This ensures that the load is shared and also allows admin to control each network individually. Moreover, you will also get a guest network for visitors to access the internet. Meanwhile, the Admin Network is used to provide access to essential infrastructure including private servers, VoIP or other systems that host sensitive data like patient files or even Point of Sale.
Netgear has also taken the BYOD (Bring your Own Device) scenario into consideration. With multiple SSIDs in the offering, employees don’t have to connect to the Gigabit Ethernet Ports and instead they can simply connect to the dedicated SSID offered by the Orbi Pro.
