Transsion Holdings, the parent firm behind smartphone brands like Tecno, Infinix and Spice Mobiles has launched its accessories marque line called Oraimo in India. The all-new brand has brought along a range of accessories to the country ranging from a simple Bluetooth speaker to a smart fitness band. Oraimo will be selling these products online on Amazon, besides retailing it across the country through brick and mortar stores.
Just like its smartphone counterparts, Infinix and itel, Oraimo is a rather new brand. Since its inception back in 2013, the firm has been supplying accessories to Transsion sister smartphone companies, as well as retailing them the African sub-continent with its own branding. Its entry into India comes soon after Transsion Holdings introduced all its major smartphone brands in the country. Apparently, one of its feature phone brands, namely itel, has been doing rather well in the Indian market.
Oraimo’s extensive product line which has now made its debut on Amazon, includes multiple in-ear earphones, over-the-ear headphones, Bluetooth earpieces, wireless speakers, smart band, car charger, USB cable and ever more. The company has launched multiple earphones into the market, with the cheapest of the lot starting from as low as Rs 180. The Bluetooth earpiece, on the other hand, is called the Oraimo Dark Knight and is priced at Rs 799. With that said, the Oraimo Sport Wireless Batman headset is the costliest of the lot at Rs 1,370. The wireless earphones come with HD audio support and have a standby time of approximately 240 hours. A number of Oraimo’s earphones come with Kevlar fiber coated wires for increasing their durability.
Oraimo has also launched three new power banks into the country. These include a 6,000mAh Oraimo aurora PB-60AR, 10,000mAh Oraimo Gorilla OPB-P102D and a 1.3cm slim 10,000Mah Oraimo Toast OPB-P103D power bank. All power banks feature dual power output, and an ultra-bright LED torch. Oraimo’s Tempo smart band is capable of performing a variety of tasking including step tracking, distance traveled and calories burned for just Rs 950. It can do almost everything one would expect a budget fitness tracker to do including sleep tracking.
Oraimo’s all-new Bluetooth speakers will start from Rs 1,499 and go up to as much as Rs 1,999. The power banks, on the other hand, would set you back at Rs 899 for the 6,000mAh model and Rs 2,299 for the ultra-thin 10,000mAh variant. Beside these Oraimo will be launching various other accessories including selfie sticks, sports armband and car mounts in due course of time.
