Garmin is extending its fitness lineup in India today with the launch of the Vivofit 4. Originally announced back in December, the wearable’s biggest highlight is the fact that it can last more than a year on a single charge. In spite of that, however, the Vivofit 4 features a color display and a plethora of smart features. It’s priced at Rs 4,999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon starting today.
The Garmin vívofit 4 comes with a bit more sportier build than its predecessor and flaunts a speckled coat on a few color options. The revamped physical button also looks a lot premium than before. The screen can remain always-on and you also have the ability to customize watch faces, themes from Garmin’s official Connect smartphone app.
Another significant change is that the vívofit 4 can be used for tracking your swims as it has a waterproof rating of 5 ATM. Other than that, it offers the usual fitness trappings including counting steps, distance traveled, sleep, calories burned, alarms, stopwatch, weather, a Find My Phone feature and more. Like before, it can also log activities such as biking, running, what have you.
The vívofit 4 also allows you to configure custom step goals each day. Moreover, it will automatically pause or resume your workout if it detects you’re on a break. Neat. Thanks to the coin cell battery it runs on, the activity band can last up to a full year on a single charge which is quite commendable considering it no longer employs a monochrome panel.
There are three color options to choose from — Black, White, and Black Speckle. It’s available in two sizes – Regular and Large.
