Honor 10 is expected to be launched in China in a few days (April 19th to be precise). Right before the launch, the official Honor 10 photos are out in the open and these images give us an early glimpse of what to expect from the device.
As far as the front facade is concerned the notch occupies the top of the screen while the physical home button with a fingerprint sensor is placed on the bottom chin. The Honor 10 will be available in black, teal and a special blue color. The special livery will alternate between Pink and Blue depending on the viewing angle. The Honor 10 is expected to come equipped with a 5.84-inch display along with a 2.5D glass cover.
The rear camera unit at the back will consist of a 20-Megapixel and a 24-Megapixel sensor, both of which are horizontally arranged. We are not sure whether or not the dual camera on the Honor 10 will come with Leica branding. Yet another highlight of this upcoming smartphone is the AI Camera, a feature that seems to be borrowed from the P20. Meanwhile, the front/selfie camera is also expected to be of 24-Megapixel considering that it shares the sensor with the P20.
Thanks to TENAA all the major Honor 10 specifications are out in the open. The device is expected to be powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 SoC clocked at up to 2.4GHz and paired with a “Neural Processing Unit.” It is quite likely that Honor 10 will be offered in two variants, one with 6GB/128GB and the other with 4GB/64GB. On the software front, the Huawei Honor 10 is likely to run Android 8.1.0 along with the EMUI overlay. Unlike the Huawei P20, the Honor 10 is expected to offer a 3.5mm headphone jack. In short, the Honor 10 seems like a slightly watered down version of the Huawei P20.
