About Christmas Mega Giveaway

Over the past 1 year, there were many giveaways and contests arranged on TechPP and we observed that they succeeded in giving the blog some new set of readers, an opportunity to reward old readers and at the same time, a great exposure for the contest sponsors. At the end of the day, every contest sponsor was happy and so were the readers and so were we.

This holiday season, people will be looking for freebies and at the same time ready to spend on something they like. We believe this is the right time to let them know about useful software and products, so that they spend their valuable money on them.

Christmas Mega Giveaway will run from November 26th to December 25th 2009. Thanksgiving day is on 26th November and we plan to kickstart our giveaway that day. Below is the planned format -

1. Each day, we plan to give away free licenses of ONE popular software/product to few lucky readers.

2. There will be at-least one introduction/announcement post and 30 daily posts (from 26th Nov to 25th Dec)

3. Each post will have a brief overview and review of the software given away.

4. Readers are asked to leave a comment for a chance to win the free license of that particular software.

5. The number of licenses should be at-least 5 and no restriction on the maximum number of licenses. This can be discussed on case by case basis.

6. Winners will be chosen randomly using List randomizer every day after the contest ends.

7. The names and email IDs of the winners will be shared with the sponsors if required.

8. There will be a link back to the sponsor’s page in Announcement, giveaway and Thank you/Feedback pages.
