It seems that for the past while LG has learnt how to remain trendy and relevant in the eyes of mobile customers. The South Korean company has managed to produce a nice impression with its G4 smartphone, a handset that stands out from the crowd with its leather treatment.
And more recently, LG has managed to partner once again with Google for the release of the Nexus 5X, and today we’ve seen the official launch of the LG V10, a new smartphone with a dual screen and dual front camera setup. So, taking all these into account, it would seem that they know what are doing.
And what seems to be logical for the company is to continue to bank on the charm of the G4, as there’s been recently a lot of rumors pointing to an imminent release of a new LG G4 Pro handset. But now it seems that the device has been spotted on GFXBench, thus revealing the main specifications of the phone.
As we can see from the above screenshot with the results from GFXBench, the rumored LG G4 Pro appears to get the following features:
- 5.7-inch QHD display with 2560×1440 resolution
- Android 5.1.1.
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 clocked at 1.8GH with a hexa core CPU (Cortex A57 – ARMv8) and Adreno 418 GPU
- 4GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage wit no mention of an external SD
- 15MP rear-facing camera that can record 4K video and a 4.7MP front-facing camera
- Acceleroemter, barometer, compass, gyroscope, NFC, pedometer
Previous reports suggested that the G4 Pro might sport a metal body, but that isn’t revealed from these tests. Other rumors say that the G4 could also get a secondary ticker display brought today by the LG V10. Besides the slightly bigger display and 1 more GB in RAM, the device is more or less the same device as the original G4, but we’ll see know for sure with what other specific features it ships once the phone is unveiled.
