Samsung had launched the Galaxy C7 Pro in China earlier this year and the rumor mills hinted at the device stepping out of the Chinese market to other regions. Samsung has today launched the Galaxy C7 Pro in India priced at Rs 27,990. The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will be exclusively available on amazon.in starting April 11 and will retail in Gold and Navy Blue Colors. Unlike the Chinese market, the Indian version will be powered by the brand new Snapdragon 626 processor.
The Galaxy C7 Pro comes equipped with a 5.7-inch FHD AMOLED display and is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 626 paired with 4GB of RAM. On the memory front, the device offers 64GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot. The imaging arrangements include 16-Megapixel primary sensor with autofocus, f/1.9, dual-Tone LED. The front facing camera is also made up of the 16-Megapixel sensor and is capable of FHD video recording.
Connectivity features on the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is backed by a 3,300 mAh battery pack that supports adaptive fast charging. The fingerprint sensor is housed within the front home button and the phone comes clad in a metal unibody. The Galaxy C7 Pro also comes baked in with the Samsung Pay and perhaps will also support Bixby assistant as well.

In the meanwhile, Samsung has already launched the Galaxy C9 Pro in India. It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor that’s mated with Adreno 510 GPU. However, the C9 Pro shares the same camera unit, storage options and design elements. Samsung is also touting its best quarterly profit ever in last three years despite the Note 7 Debacle and Samsung’s internal problems.
