Honor 9i with Dual Front and Rear Camera Setup Launched in India at Rs 17,999

At an event in India Honor has pulled the wraps from its latest offering, the Honor 9i. Priced at Rs 17,999 the Honor 9i is available in Platinum Gold, Midnight Black, and Navy Blue color options. The device is up for sale exclusively on Flipkart starting from 14th of October. The Honor 9i is a moniker for the Huawei Maimang 6 which was launched in China recently.

The Honor 9i features a 5.9-inch FHD display along with a 2.5D curved glass and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Powering the device is an octa-core Kirin 659 processor mated to a 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, the device offers 64GB of internal storage along with microSD SIM slot that can accommodate up to 256GB. The fingerprint sensor sits at the back, and the Honor 9i looks somewhat similar to the Honor 8 Pro that was launched earlier this year.

The Honor 9i runs on Android 7.0 Nougat along with EMUI layering. The device is backed by a 3340mAh battery and offers dual SIM slot. The camera options on the Honor 9i is made up of two dual lens camera unit, yes both the front camera and the rear camera come with dual lenses. The rear camera setup is made up of the 16-Megapixel lens along with a 2-Megapixel lens. The front/selfie camera is a combination of 13-Megapixel sensor and a 2-Megapixel sensor. Connectivity features on the Honor 9i include 4G VoLTE, WiFI 802.11, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC.
