Reliance Jio has announced a new ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ recharge offer ahead of the Diwali festive season. Under the scheme, you will be eligible for a 100 percent cash back on a 399 recharge. The top-up needs to be done between 12th to 18th of this month, after which the telco is expected to launch revised plans for its booming 4G network.
Moreover, this recharge will be considered an advance and will come into effect once your existing plan expires. The cashback will be available in the form of eight vouchers of Rs 50. These can be redeemed only on future Jio recharges valued at Rs 309 and above or Rs 91 and above in the case of add-on packs. Another detail you should know is that you can avail only one of these at a time. The redemption can be, however, only done after 15th of November.
You can recharge with this offer on just about any channel including the company’s own website, MyJio app, partner retail stores, PayTM, Amazon Pay, PhonePe and MobiKwik. The scheme certainly sounds like an attractive deal, although the Jio-only coupons could be a deal breaker for some. Although you’re still paying Rs 400 for three months of unlimited 4G data, something which other operators are still unable to catch up on. On a related note, earlier today, Airtel announced how it plans to take on JioPhone, but it’s still not as attractive as JioPhone.
Reliance Jio says it is gearing up to announce new tariffs after 19th October, so this is the best way to lock in the existing prices. If history is any indication, these plans will be marginally expensive than the current ones. Will you be opting for this Jio Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer? Let us know in the comments section below.
