ZTE has now launched a new budget smartphone in the USA. It is called the ZYE Blade Force and, will be exclusive to Boost Mobile. Just like most other phones from ZTE, this too is expected to be exclusive to the States.
Recently, the Chinese OEM also launched an ultra-budget device in the form of the ZTE Blade A2S in its homeland.
The ZTE Blade Force comes in a polycarbonate body, that’s has a crisscross texture on the back for added grip. At a price of $130, it is a no non-sense device that features the bare minimum entry level specs. The device rocks a 5.5 inch HD IPS display up front, which supposedly misses out on a protective glass. That said, it’s hardly something to complain about when the price of the handset is considered.
Underneath, the ZTE Blade Force is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. This is mated with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Furthermore, the Blade Force also provides room for memory expansion via MicroSD card.
In terms of camera, the ZTE Blade Force features an 8MP rear camera. It is backed by a dual LED flash. Apart from that, there a 2MP front camera for clicking selfies. The budget phablet also comes with a 3,000mAh battery that promises up to 23.5 hours of talktime.
The rest of the specifications of the ZTE Blade Fore include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 with almost no ZTE specific features.
