Some of us are simply not satisfied with the usual boring smartphones, and in fact, this is one of the reasons for those Gold iPhones and the Vertu Luxury phones to exist in the market. This time around, the Lenovo owned Motorola is all set to appease your taste in luxury with a $1,500 variant of the Moto Z2 Force.
Called the 2018 Kingsman Special Edition the smartphone uses a Grade 7000 aluminum for the exterior of the device. The exterior is finished with brushed aluminum, and the Motorola Logo comes in a golden color. That apart most of the other specifications seem to be based on the usual Moto Z2 Force. The 2018 Kingsman Special Edition goes by the Moto Z 2018 moniker in China.
Apart from the Golden “Motorola” logo and the brushed aluminum, I don’t exactly spot other luxurious bits that would separate the Kingsman Edition from its plain Moto Z2 Force sibling. However, buyers would be treated with a box shaped like a briefcase, something that falls in line with the whole Kingsmen movie trend.
The 2018 Kingsman Special Edition is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 paired with 6GB of RAM. On the storage front, the device offers 128GB of internal storage. The Special Edition borrows the much touted 5.5-inch AMOLED ShatterShield display from the usual Moto Z2 Force. That apart the device does come with a handful of extras including a 3,490mAh TurboPowerMoto Mod, Moto Style Mod, USB Type-C earphones, leather flip case, a VIP card and a 45-anniversary notepad.
Recently the Moto Z2 Force got an update which is supposed to enable the Gigabit LTE on Verizon. The Moto Z2 Force is currently retailing at $720 with a free Insta Projector while the Moto Z2 Force Droid Edition is retailing at $1099 on amazon.com.
