We have seen a lot of products from the Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform MIJIA, some innovative and others quirky. The crowdfunding platform has to offer everything from a Mi Pen to a non-electric blanket that heats itself. The latest product from the MIJIA stable is an e-cigarette. The e-cigarette is often touted as a “less” harmful substitute to tobacco-based cigarettes. The device works by heating a liquid which then forms an aerosol which is inhaled by the user. Doing so is mostly called “vaping.” The e-cigarettes are usually available in both nicotine and non-nicotine flavoring. Other than nicotine the cigarettes are made up of propylene glycol, glycerine, and other added flavorings.
The Xiaomi MIJIA A&D e-cigarette comes with a stainless steel exoskeleton along with a matte texture. The device is 12 cm long and 1cm in diameter. The A&D e-cigarette makes use of technology for the intake fog and the induction air flow control. Design wise the e-cigarette looks like a sketch pen, and it is also available in various colors. The makers have also included an led light that automatically glows when you suck the air and turns off when not in use.
That apart, for we already have a ton of e-Cigarettes available in the market, so what is it that sets the A&D apart? Well, to begin with, the e-cigarette contains zero calories and also comes laden with Vitamin C, A, B6 and B12 along with coenzyme Q10. Also present are the micronutrients which are considered to be useful for the body. All the parts of the cigarette are fixed, and there is no need to open or refill. However, this also means that the A&D e-Cigarette will last for a maximum of 500 vaping before reaching the end of its life cycle.
The MIJIA backed A&D e-cigarette is available at 199 yuan ($30) and will be available in Green Apple, Grape Fruit, Sweet Vanilla and Menthol Mint.
