Nokia seems to have a rather impressive lineup for this year. Earlier on, the rumor mills suggested a Penta lens Nokia smartphone in works and now we have what seems to be the Nokia 7 Plus specifications. The leaked marketing material of the Nokia 7 Plus shows-off the device along with other major specifications. The Nokia 7 Plus is speculated to be launched at the MWC this year.
The Nokia 7 Plus is expected to come equipped with a Dual-lens Zeiss camera setup (12MP+13MP) and offer up to 2X of optical zoom. Needless to say, Nokia will continue offering the bothie feature with the help of a 16-Megapixel front camera sensor. It is also safe to presume that the Nokia 7 Plus will come with the Nokia OZO 360-degree spatial audio technology.
The device will feature a 6-inch 18:9 resolution display and is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 along with 4GB of RAM. If true, this will make Nokia 7 Plus the first Nokia phone to feature a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. On the storage front, the specifications list a 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. As far as design is concerned the Nokia 7 Plus will come with a coating that mimics the ceramic texture and feel. Nokia has also used a dual accent color accents along the edges. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back.
On the software front, the Nokia 7 Plus will run Android Oreo 8.0. Backing the device is a 3,300 mAh battery which is charged via the Type-C USB port. Nokia 7 was launched in October last year and is currently China exclusive. It is quite likely that the Nokia 7 Plus will be launched globally at the upcoming MWC in Barcelona. The chances are that the Nokia 7 Plus maybe priced in the $300 vicinity and if that happens it will shape up as a good mid-range value offering.
