Samsung has launched a digital display in India called the Samsung Flip. The Digital Display or rather a digital whiteboard was first unveiled at the 2018 CES. The Samsung Flip is aimed at catering to the enterprises for meetings and roundtables. Samsung has priced the Flip at Rs 3,00,000, and the same will be available across Samsung retail stores.
The Samsung Flip is similar to the Microsoft Whiteboard, and it comes equipped with a 55-inch 4K display panel. The board measures up as follows, 1302.6 x 805.5x 52.0mm and weighs in at 28.9kgs. As expected the board can be flipped around and can be used in both portrait (2160×3840) and landscape mode (3840×2160). Samsung Flip runs on Tizen and offers an 8GB of network storage. As far as colors are concerned the Samsung Flip will only be available in Light Gray Color.

The Samsung Flip Digital display can support up to four participants when it comes to sharing and annotating the content. All the users can make changes simultaneously thus giving way to an intuitive way to collaborate. The files are stored in a central database and can be password protected. Files can be browsed by using palm swipes; one can also use the palm to erase text. Samsung Flip boasts of 20 pages of writing space with an ability to sift through the same by simply swiping.
The Digital whiteboard can be connected to Windows 10 laptop via HDMI and is also supports mirroring and NFC. Other sharing options include network storage, USB drive, cloud printing and the good old email. Lastly, the Samsung Flip supports passive touch technology allowing users to use any other object like a pen.
