Huawei P20 Lite has been launched in India. Priced at Rs 19,999 the Huawei P20 Lite aims at offering a good value for money proposition with features like dual rear camera sensor and a powerful selfie camera. The Huawei P20 Lite will be exclusively available on and will go on sale from may 3rd.

The front of the device features a 5.8 inch 19:9 Full HD+ (2,280 x 1,080p) display with a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. There are very minimal bezels surrounding the display on the three sides, except one which houses the Huawei branding. Powering the device is a Kirin 659 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, the Huawei P20 Lite offers a choice between 32GB/64GB of internal storage alongside a hybrid microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 256GB. The Huawei P20 Lite runs on Android 8.0 Oreo flavored with the EMUI overlay.

Imaging options on the P20 Lite include a dual rear camera setup made up of a 16MP+2MP lens combo. Huawei has employed a 24MP Sony IMX578 selfie shooter. The all-new Sony sensor promise improved low light selfie shooting capabilities, with markedly low image noise. The hardware is further back by a Huawei’s own beauty algorithms and an LCD smart light flash. The Huawei P20 Lite is same as Huawei Nova 3e which was launched earlier in China.

The fingerprint sensor sits at the back and the device comes with a super glossy paint scheme including Klien Blue, Sakura Pink and Mid Night black. Backing the device is a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the Huawei P20 Lite include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, Type-C, USB OTG support, and GPS.
