Asus is introducing two new gaming laptops in India with the launch of the TUF FX504 and ROG G703. Both the computers sit in two vastly different price ranges as the former starts at Rs 69,990 and the latter costs a whopping Rs 4,99,990. You do, however, get a ton of premium hardware in return. The ROG G703 is the first laptop with Intel’s new hexa-core i9 chipset to launch in India.
In addition to that, the ROG G703 comes with a 17.3-inch 1080p screen which has an impressive refresh rate of 144Hz. Under the hood, you’ll find the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU and an endless stream of memory and storage. There’s 8GB GDDR5X of VRAM, 64GB of DDR4 RAM, 2TB Firecuda hard drive, and three 512GB SSDs.
The FX 504, while costs much less, still packs a lot of punch. For starters, it has a 15.6-inch 1080p screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz (only on the i7 model). There’s Intel’s 8th-gen i5 or i7 processors underneath, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard-drive, 4GB GDDR5, and a 128GB PCIe SSD. Moreover, it features something called a “HyperCool technology” which essentially prevents the laptop’s innards from accumulating dust practices which in turn allows it to run flawlessly for a longer timespan.
The Asus ROG G703 will be available from the first week of next month through LFR Stores, Online stores and with our Asus channel partners. The TUF Gaming FX504, however, will go on sale sometime from this month’s third week through the same channels. The i7 variant of the FX504 is priced Rs 20,000 more at Rs 89,990.
Commenting further on the launch, Arnold Su, Business Development Manager, ASUS India stated, “We take immense pride in introducing intuitive technology like TUF GAMING and latest i9 processor in our newest 8th gen editions lined up. The updated range of gaming laptops combines robust performance accompanied with durability to deliver extreme reliability to the consumer. We aim to provide gamers with the best of both worlds enabling them to game at their best.”
