Soon after a remarkable takeover by the American retail giant, Walmart, Flipkart is all set to organize its first mega sale in India. Dubbed as the Big Shopping Days, the sale is set to commence from 13 – 16 May. Just like in the past, Flipkart’s major rival in India, Amazon has announced a similar sale on the same dates. Other than that, Snapdeal has started their sale already, wherein products would be available at discounted prices from 11 – 13 May.
The Big Shopping Days will have a variety of products on sale at heavily discounted rates. These include a wide range of electronics starting from smartphones to air conditioners. With that said, the smartphone deals are the most appealing, hence we at TechPP, have listed down the best possible deals one can opt for while buying their new devices during the sale days.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 – Rs 27,999 (Best Buy @ Rs 25,999)
After a pretty long time, Xiaomi has announced a major price cut for its Mi Mix 2 flagship smartphone in India. During the sale days, the smartphone would be available at a price of Rs 27,999. That said, the best buy price for the Xiaomi flagship would be as low as Rs 25,999. This price is, however, inclusive of Rs 2,000 exchange bonus. At this price point, the Mi Mix 2 is a stellar buy. Samsung Galaxy S8 – Rs 37,999
The Big Shopping Days is a great opportunity for Samsung fanboys to get hands on last year’s Galaxy flagship. The Samsung Galaxy S8, which is still a pretty powerful and attractive device even after the launch of its successor would go on sale on Flipkart at Rs 37,999. This is by far the best price for a new Galaxy S8 online. The Samsung flagship touting a 5.8-inch QHD+ Infinity display and an Exynos 8895 processor currently retails in India for Rs 49,990.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus – Rs 43,990
Just like its smaller brother, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will also be available at an awesome price during the sale. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 – Rs 10,799
For the first time since launch, users would be able to get their hands on the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 at a discounted rate. That said, the above-mentioned price of Rs 10,799 is only applicable if a user places the order using their HDFC Bank debit or credit card.
Honor 9 Lite – Rs 9,999 (Best Buy @ Rs 8,999)
Honor 9 Lite, which otherwise retails at Rs 10,999 (32GB internal storage) will up for grabs at just Rs 9,999 via flash sale on May 13 starting midnight. HDFC debit and credit card holder will get an additional cashback of Rs 1,000 thereby resulting in an effective price of Rs 8,999. The top end variant of the Honor 9 Lite with 64GB internal memory will be available at a discounted price of Rs 14,999. Those willing to exchange their old smartphone in favor of the new phone will get an additional discount up to Rs 2,000.
Also, the Honor 9i will be discounted to Rs 15,999 during the Flipkart big billion days. It usually sells for Rs 17,999 on Flipkart.
