Honor 7A and Honor 7C with Qualcomm Snapdragon Launched in India, Prices Start at Rs 8,999

Honor 7A and the Honor 7C smartphone have been launched at an event in India. Both the smartphones were confirmed by Honor earlier on Social media. The Honor 7A is priced at Rs 8,999 while the Honor 7C is priced starting at Rs 9,999 (Rs 11,999 for 4GB/64GB). The Honor 7A will be Flipkart exclusive while the 7C will be Amazon.in exclusive.

The Honor 7A is more of a budget offering rather than a mid-range one. The device comes fitted with a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a pixel density of 283ppi. At the heart of the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 paired with 3GB of RAM. On the storage front, the Honor 7A offers 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

Despite being a budget smartphone the Honor 7A packs a dual rear camera at the back. The dual rear camera is made up of 13MP+2MP sensors. The front/selfie camera shapes up in the form of an 8-Megapixel sensor with soft selfie toning light. The Honor 7A runs on Android Oreo wrapped with EMUI 8.0 and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Honor 7C is a step up from the Honor 7A and seems to be positioned between the 7A and the Honor 9 Lite. The Honor 7C features 5.99-inch HD+ display. The Honor 7C is powered by Snapdragon 450 along with a choice between 3GB/4GB of RAM. Storage options on the device include a choice between 32GB and 64GB which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

That apart Honor 7C seems to share the camera hardware with the 7A and this includes the dual rear camera is made up of 13MP+2MP sensors and the 8MP with soft selfie toning light. Both the Honor 7A and the 7C will be available in Blue, Black, and Gold color schemes.

The party mode is an interesting feature that allows users to connect Honor 7A/7C with 9 different devices for an audio output. The Ride Mode is a feature aimed at helping bikers and this works on the same lines as the Samsung’s S-Bike mode. Additionally, Honor has tied up with Jio and is offering a cashback of Rs 2,200 and 50GB of additional data. The Honor 7A will start selling from 29th May while the 7C will be available from 31st of May.
