Less than six months after launching the V11 Pro, Vivo is back with its successor, the Vivo V15 Pro, which has been launched in India for Rs 28,990. The V Pro series has stood the test of time bringing the best of Vivo’s innovations in one phone. While it’s still not the flagship series (that belongs to NEX), it brings innovations like pop-up camera, almost bezel-less display, in-display fingerprint scanner, triple cameras and more.

The Vivo V15 Pro (read our first impressions here) comes with a glass back with the color gradients that makes it look stand-out without being flashy. The V15 Pro is the first ever smartphone (at least in India) to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, which is a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 660. It’s paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 256GB with the help of a dedicated microSD slot.

The front is all-display with very thin bezels around. That’s a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED screen which carries the 5th generation in-display fingerprint scanner. As for the cameras, Vivo has thrown a kitchen sink with triple sensors on the back. The primary sensor is a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 unit supported by an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

The pop-up front camera is the main highlight of the V15 Pro. It’s a 32-megapixel sensor which pops out in 0.46 second as the company claims and seems to be faster than what we saw on the Vivo Nex. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS 9 on top. There is support for dual-SIM, dedicated microSD slot, support for 4G, dual VoLTE, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. And powering all these is a 3700mAh battery which supports Dual-Engine fast charging via the microUSB slot.
