With just a few weeks left for the ‘Galaxy A’ event, slated for April 10, Samsung has just revealed the all-new Galaxy A70. The device expands the current lineup of A-series smartphones and comes with large 6.7-inch display, triple camera setup on the rear, in-display fingerprint scanner, and a massive 4500mAh battery, to name a few highlighting features.
In terms of design, the Galaxy A70 feature’s Samsung’s 3D Glasstic design, with a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch, that Samsung calls an ‘Infinity U display’. The display offers a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-Core processor, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card. It runs on Samsung’s One UI based on Android 9 Pie, and sports a massive 4500mAh battery with support for 25W Super-Fast charging, to power everything. For authentication, the device uses facial recognition and an in-display fingerprint scanner, although it is not clear at the moment, whether the scanner is an optical scanner or the latest ultrasonic scanner.
In the camera department, the Galaxy A70 features a triple camera set up on the rear with a 32MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor (f/2.2 aperture, 123 degrees), and a 5MP depth sensor (f/2.2 aperture). And on the front, a 32MP camera for selfies and facial recognition.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 will be available in four colors: Black, Blue, Coral, and White. Samsung has not yet announced any details on the pricing and availability of the Galaxy A70. However, with the April 10 event approaching, we can expect the company to reveal the details there.
