Apple tv+ Subscription and Availability Announced

Apple announced its special subscription service, Apple tv+ in its event earlier this year mainly focusing on consumer services. Apple Arcade, which was also announced alongside Apple tv+ has now been launched officially, and along with it, Apple has also launched the Apple tv+ subscription service which will be made available to consumers starting November 1 this year. In addition to this, Apple has also unveiled an all-new iPhone lineup [iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max], seventh-gen iPad, and Apple Watch Series 5.

Apple tv+ is a service that enables users of all Apple devices including Apple tv, iPads, iPhones, Macs to enjoy unique and exclusive content made especially for their platform. This includes movies, tv shows, programs for kids etc. Apple has partnered with multiple content creators and renowned producers and directors to make content for the platform.

Apple tv+ Shows

Shows include “See”, from the producer of the famous trilogy of Planet of the Apes, Hala, Snoopy in Space, The Morning Show, Dickinson etc. These include documentaries, talk shows, music and exclusive TV series. Apple markets it as a platform for storytellers like Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey to reach the masses. The subscription is ad-free.

Apple tv+ Pricing and Availability

The Apple tv+ subscription will be available starting November 1 in over 100 countries with roll-out in other countries to follow soon after. The subscription service is priced at $4.99 per month in the US, while in India, the service will be available for just Rs. 99 per month, which seems like an absolute bargain. Consumers purchasing any of the new Apple devices including iPhones, iPads, iPods and Macs will have 1 year of free subscription bundled for free.
