Oppo announced the Reno3 Pro alongside the regular Reno3 in China, back in December last year. And today, after being teased across different social channels, the company has unveiled the Reno3 Pro in the Indian market. However, it is worth noting that the Indian model differs from its Chinese counterpart to a greater degree in terms of its design and specifications, and therefore, should not be confused with it. So let’s dive in and check out the all-new Reno3 Pro in detail.
Oppo Reno3 Pro: Design and Display
In terms of design, the Reno3 Pro comes with an-glass design with a gradient finish back that changes color with light striking it at different angles. Towards the front, the phone has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout to house the dual front-facing camera. The display comes with TÜV Rheinland protection and provides a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Reno3 Pro comes in three color options: Auroral Blue, Midnight Black, and Sky White.
Oppo Reno3 Pro: Performance
At its core, the Reno3 Pro has a MediaTek P95 processor, announced a few days back, with PowerVR GM 94446 running under the hood, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB internal storage. The internals draw power from a 4025mAh battery, which comes 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 support that suggests charging up the battery to 50% within 20 minutes. Among other things, the handset comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and HyperBoost gaming mode to offer better frame rates and improved performance.
On the software front, the phone runs on ColorOS 7 based on Android 10, out of the box.
Oppo Reno3 Pro: Camera
For optics, the Reno3 Pro sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, with an LED flash. The setup includes a 64MP primary sensor with f/.8 aperture, accompanied by a 13MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the device comes with the dual front-facing camera setup, with a 44MP main sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, housed within the hold-punch cutout.
Oppo Reno3 Pro: Pricing and Availability
The Oppo Reno3 Pro comes in two configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, priced at Rs 29,990 and Rs 32,990 respectively. It will be up for pre-order starting today and will go on sale from March 6 across Amazon India, Flipkart, and other offline retailers.
Alongside the Reno3 Pro, Oppo also announced two new earphones at the event. Among the two, the Enco Free was already launched alongside the Reno 3 and Reno3 Pro in China last year, and today it makes its way to India along with the Enco W31. Talking about the pricing, the Enco W31 comes in at Rs 4499, while the Enco Free carries a price tag of Rs 7990. Both, the Enco W31 and Enco Free will be available starting March 6.
