  1. I have a new hp chromebook with chrome os 98.0.4664.111 installed.
I want to install real firefox (not the play store version). I followed the directions exactly. The icon appeared in the tray, I clicked on it and nothing happened. I did a power reboot and then clicked on the icon. If just has the revolving circle thing for more than 10 min. I do not think the install worked even though the command sudo flatpak install flathub org.mozilla.firefox completed successfully. Any ideas what the problem is?

  2. Hi Paul, that happened to me, too. Just follow the instructions to install it again (flatpak install) and it should work after the 2nd attempt.
