Nokia has been keeping its promise for delivering security updates almost immediately. Nokia 5.1 Plus runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with security patch level dated 5th September 2018.

HMD says that the Nokia 5.1 Plus is “ready for Android Pie”, but hasn’t disclosed when exactly the rollout will begin.
