Karboon announced the Titanium Mach Two smartphone in the middle of this march as a successor to the Mach One and now the company is launching the MachOne Plus, which can be considered the bigger brother of the One. The handset is available at a price of Yu Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2.which will put it in competition with a number of smartphones, such as the Yu Yuphoria and the Xiaomi Redmi 2.
The new Titanium MachOne Plus features a 4.7-inch HD screen, carries a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The smartphone comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, as well, that can prove to be helpful in low-light conditions.
On the software side, the handset comes with some unique features, the most important one being the support for 22 Indian languages including Hindi, Malayalam, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. This has been made possible through a partnership with SwiftKey.
The device also comes with Smart Awake to access notifications and apps directly from the lock screen, Multi Gesture for two-finger swipe actions, Smart Eye Gesture for pausing videos and Smart Swipe for changing music tracks. Software puritans might dislike the fact that the phone comes preloaded with a number of third party apps including Amazon, Flipkart, Hungama Movies, Savan, Opera, OLX, and CleanMaster; but some of them are actually useful.
The smartphone comes with a 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card. The MachOne Plus measures 8.1mm in thinness and comes with a weight of 136 grams. Connectivity features include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and there’s a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio, as well. Powering the device is a 1800mAh battery, which seems a little mediocre (lasts for 6 hours on talktime and 250 hours on standby), but it delivers a decent lifespan considering its price tag.
The Karbonn Titanium MachOne Plus comes in White with Golden, White and Dark Blue colors and will be available across major Indian e-commerce portals and retail stores.
