JioPhone Discounted to Rs 699 for JioPhone Diwali 2019 Offer
Taking a step towards what Jio likes to call, ‘Total Digital Inclusion’ of all Indians, the company has today announced a new offer for its customers. The offer, called the JioPhone Diwali 2019 Offer, is a special one-time offer that will be available this festive season during the Dussehra and Diwali. Essentially, the offer provides the JioPhone with a price cut and also includes added benefits for the customers.
According to the company, an affordable Internet has become a fundamental need for a human in today’s day and age, which is why it has taken initiatives to offer data (along with voice) for a much affordable price. Not to mention, the JioPhone, which is the cheapest 4G-enabled smartphone, announced to make the internet available for every individual in the country.
At its launch, the company sold the phone for Rs 1,500. But, taking into consideration a large population of the country that is still on 2G networks, the company has decided to provide the phone (JioPhone 1) for a special discounted price of Rs 699 (without exchange on the old phone). The offer goes live during the festive season of Dussehra and Diwali, and JioPhone users who join the network during the sale will get an additional benefit of worth Rs 700. Customers will get this benefit in the form of data for worth Rs 99 for their first seven recharges. When summed together, the offer provides a total savings of Rs 1500, which a saving of Rs 800 on the initial price of the phone and Rs 700 worth of data offered for free.
