Acer ConceptD and ConceptD Pro Family Launched in India

Acer, one of the popular brands in the computing space, has today announced the launch of its ConceptD and ConceptD Pro family series in India. The new series, ConceptD and ConceptD Pro, both are a new brand of premium high-end desktops, notebook PCs, and monitors, which Acer says is designed for amateur and professional creators. Overall, the lineup includes10 products, namely, ConceptD 500 Desktop, ConceptD 3, 9, 7, and 5 Notebooks, CP3 Monitor, ConceptD 9 Pro, 7 Pro, 5 Pro, and 3 Pro. Let’s look at each of these in detail.

Acer ConceptD 9 Pro

ConceptD 500: High-end Desktop

As the name suggests, the ConceptD 500 is a high-end desktop that features a range of NVIDIA GPUs up to the Quadro RTX 4000 to offer faster and better visual rendering, complex 3D modeling, improved simulations, and AI and deep learning development. It comes with up to 9th gen Intel Core processor, up to 64GB RAM, and 1TB SSD with up to 2TB HDD. Besides this, the desktop also includes NVIDIA’s Creator Ready Drivers that aid with better performance in applications like Autodesk Arnold, Unreal Engine, and REDCINE-X PRO.

ConceptD Series Notebooks

The ConceptD Series Notebooks lineup comes with enhanced color accuracy, silent processing, and 4K UHD IPS PANTONE displays. They offer a wide color gamut and a color accuracy of as low as Delta E <1. Besides, the notebooks include Acer’s 4th gen AeroBlade 3D Fan with noise reduction mechanism that claims to emit less than 40 dB of noise.

ConceptD 9

The ConceptD 9 is a high-end notebook targeted for working with demanding 3D work. It comes with a 4K UHD display with 100% Adobe RGB gamut, PANTONE Validated color fidelity, and Delta E <1 color accuracy. At its core, the notebook comes with the 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20801, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and two 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSDs. All these specifications allow for better 3D rendering, editing and exporting up to 6K videos, real-time ray tracing, and more.

ConceptD 7

The ConceptD 7 notebook comes with 15.6- inch UHD (3840 x 2160) 4K IPS, PANTONE Validated display with a 100 percent Adobe RGB color gamut and a color accuracy of Delta E <2. Under the hood, it is powered by the 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RT 2080 graphics. In addition, the notebook allows for connecting up to three external displays using the Thunderbolt 3 and MiniDP ports and also features Killer DoubleShot Pro for faster and reliable Wi-Fi connection.

ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 3

The ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 3, both come with the 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, with the ConceptD 5 available in 13-inch and 15-inch display options with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPUs. It covers 100% of Adobe RGB color gamut and offers a color accuracy of Delta E <2. Besides, there is 32GB of DDR4 and up to 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSD and up to 2TB HDD. On the other hand, the ConceptD 3 features NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU for better graphics processing and comes with 4th Gen Aeroblade 3D Fan to offer a quiet working experience.

ConceptD Pro Series

The ConceptD Pro Series includes four laptops, all of which are targeting for different users and are part of the NVIDIA’s RTX Studio certification program.

ConceptD 9 Pro

The ConceptD 9 Pro is the top-of-the-line laptop in the Pro series, and it comes with a 17.3-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) PANTONE-validated display that covers 100% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and offers a color accuracy of Delta E <1. At its core, the laptop features the 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processor with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics to deliver high performance in the fields of AI/deep learning, engineering simulations, and more. In addition, it also comes with a Wacom EMR stylus, which magnetically attaches to the laptop and offers accurate controls with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

ConceptD 7 Pro

The ConceptD 7 Pro is targeted at those who want powerful on-the-go performance. It features a 15.6-inch 4K display and weighs in at 2.1kg. At its core, the laptop is powered by the 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU for delivering performance across different fields of work for professionals like data scientists, software developers, engineers.

ConceptD 5 Pro

ConceptD 5 Pro

The ConceptD 5 Pro comes in two screen size options: 15.6- and 17.3-inch IPS display with 4K UHD resolution, which claims to be ideal for CAD design, animation, and simulation workflows. It is powered by the 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and up to NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 graphics to with better graphics performance. The display covers a wide color gamut that matches 100% Adobe RGB color space.

ConceptD 3 Pro

The ConceptD 3 Pro is an affordable version of the ConceptD Pro lineup, and it comes with the 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA Quadro T1000 graphics. It offers true color reproduction and runs at less than 40 dB. Acer says the laptop is ideal for professionals like photographers and interior and graphic designers

ConceptD CP3 Monitor

Alongside the desktops and laptops, Acer has also announced a monitor for creators. The ConceptD CP3 Monitor has a slick, black finish with a wood-patterned base and comes with 4K UHD resolution and color accuracy of Delta E <1 with 90% DCI-P31. In addition, it has a 144Hz refresh rate and VESA DisplayHDR 400 Certification to deliver a smoother experience and eliminate any visual artifacts.
