Xiaomi made its foray into laptop space in India with the launch of two laptops: Mi NoteBook 14 and Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition. Carrying forward the Horizon Edition range, the company is now introducing the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition, which runs on Android TV and features a 43-inch (full-HD) and 32-inch (HD) display and 20W speakers. The launch also makes it the first smart TV from Xiaomi under the Horizon branding. Here’s a closer look at the specifications of the same.
Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition
The all-new Mi TV Horizon Edition features a bezel-less design with thin bezels running around the edges. It comes in two screen sizes: a 43-inch LED with full-HD resolution and a 32-inch model with HD resolution. Under the hood, there is a Cortex A53 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The TV comes with 20W speakers with DTS-HD technology.
For connectivity, the Mi TV comes equipped with 2x USB Type-A ports, 3x HDMI ports, 1x ethernet port, and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. Furthermore, there is built-in support for Chromecast and Google Assistant. With Google Assistant, users can simply summon the assistant using voice to perform different operations on the TV. Similarly, the Chromecast feature can come in handy when users want to cast content from their smartphone on to the TV. Furthermore, another feature that TV offers is Google’s Data Saver, which just as it sounds, reduces the data consumption. Xiaomi says the feature allows for up to 3x more streaming on mobile hotspot.
On the software front, the Mi TV Horizon Edition runs on Android TV based on PatchWall UI, with access to the Google Play Store and over 23+ content partners and 7+ news channel.
