In Summary
- The first big tech show of 2026, the Consumer Electronics Show, came to an end recently in Las Vegas.
- While there were dozens of gadgets and technologies that were showcased at the event, some stood out for being extremely innovative and thinking outside the regular tech box.
- We take a look at our favorite seven gadgets from CES 2026, which showed innovation at its best in Vegas
We are not even halfway through the first month of 2026, and one of the largest consumer tech shows of the year is already done and dusted. The tech new year always gets underway with CES in Las Vegas, and 2026 has been no different. As always, CES saw gadgets and tech galore being showcased by some of the biggest names in tech as well as relative newcomers.

While a lot of the tech wizardry on show at Vegas followed broadly predictable lines (bigger, better, faster, et al), some gadgets made us sit up and take notice because of their “out of the box” approach. They might not become bestsellers, but they showed us that in an increasingly predictable and cliché following (check the number of gadgets that had “AI” slapped on them just for the sake of it) tech world, sensible innovation was alive and well. Here are seven gadgets from CES 2026 that oozed innovation with intent:

Honey, we just made Legos super smart, too!
The popular consensus around Legos is that they are perfect as they are, but at CES 2026, the world got to know that Legos can be even better. Making us all believe this is what seems to be a routine Lego brick from afar, but actually comes packed with a custom chip, motion/ light sensor, LEDs, a tiny speaker, and even wireless charging. Insane, right?
These tiny bricks have the ability to take your gameplay to another level without any phones, screens, or even apps. They can detect smart minifigurines, and the chip inside helps them identify them too. Once it identifies the element, it then responds accordingly without the need for any screen or app, keeping the experience authentically Lego-like. So, for instance, if you bring a smart figurine close to these magic bricks, they can light up, make sounds, and react all on their own. The first play set includes three LEGO Star Wars kits. Strong is the innovation Force with this one!
Headphones with a twist…they twist and become a speaker!
We have had a number of edits to the good old headphones and speakers over the years. Brands have forced touchscreens, slapped on AI, and whatnot, but there was one gadget that brought an idea that seems truly innovative. At first glance, the TDM Neo looks like a pair of regular over-the-head headphones. You simply put them on and go about your audio journey.
But what if you want to invite more people on this audio safari of yours? Well, take them off, twist the headband, and they morph into a proper Bluetooth speaker in seconds. The headphones have a flexible headband that can be twisted, and then you can magnetically connect the cups of the headphones together to end up with an almost round Bluetooth speaker. Ingenious, right? Oh, and they come with four independently tuned drivers, 6 multi-point connection options, and a battery life of up to a whopping 200+ hours!
Want a bigger display on your notebook? Let it roll…like, literally!
It was perhaps the most talked-about device even before CES took place. Everyone was wondering if it was just a myth, and when Lenovo actually delivered the Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable, it was greeted with shock and awe. The Legion Pro Rollable is a laptop with a 16-inch OLED display, and it is this display that gives it its name – it can roll out like a scroll into a 24-inch panel at the push of a button, turning it into a full fledged ultra wide desktop-like setup.
It is part of the Legion series, so sure enough, it comes with heavy-duty specs, complete with Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA RTX-series graphics. But for once, the chips and graphics were not making headlines in a gaming device – its display made sure this rollable notebook totally rocked CES!
Whoop, whoop, this fitness band has a voice!
Indian brand Noise showcased its display-less smartband at Vegas. In many regards, it seems like another Whoop clone – it has no display, keeps track of essentials like heart rate, body temperature, sleep quality, movement, and much more, which users can view on the companion app. So far, so Whoop, like right? Well, there is a twist – the band might be screen-less, but one can easily use their voice to log in details like what you ate, how you are feeling, amongst other things.

This can only be done using the Apple voice assistant, Siri, at the time of writing, which means this feature is iOS limited, although the band can be paired with both iOS and Android devices. Also, there is absolutely no subscription. It is just health tracking made simple and minimalistic. And knowing Noise, it will not come with a massive price tag either. All of which makes us Whoop with joy.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest – and most healthy – of them all?
Some of the tech at CES was so amazing as to almost feel outworldly. And right on top of this magical gadget list was a mirror. The mirror in the fairy tale only told the evil queen who was the fairest of them all, but the Nuralogix Longevity Mirror actually tells you how you are. A smart wellness mirror, it comes with a built-in camera that scans your face for 30 seconds to detect subtle changes in your blood that cannot be detected by the naked eye.
The mirror uses Transdermal Optical imaging, which spots changes in your skin color and blood patterns. It then gives you a score from 0-100 indicating heart health, metabolic balance, stress levels, and tells how your body is aging as compared to your actual health. So you can know not just how you are looking, but even know about your health. Isn’t that neat?
Leggy vacuum cleaner with Martian Rover vibes
We have sent a number of Rovers to Mars, but did not expect to find something that looked like one cleaning up our house. At CES, Roborock introduced the Soros Rover, which looks right out of a sci-fi movie, and is actually a vacuum cleaner that has legs and not just wheels.

One of the biggest problems that many face with vacuum cleaner robots is that they cannot really go from one floor to another. The Roborock Soros Rover solves this very issue. With its legs and wheel, it can climb stairs, make tiny jumps, and duck and dive. Neat, very neat. And your house will be neat too, with it around.
Is that Wallpaper…or a television!
Smart TVs were a rage at CES, and while many caught our eyes, the one that kept them glued to it for the longest time was the LG W6 Wallpaper TV. As the name suggests, the TV is almost wallpaper-like in terms of thinness. It is insanely thin – at 9mm, the TV is thinner than some of the smartphones we have used, which is absolutely bonkers. It features LG’s most advanced OLED panel– the new Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 and uses a wireless connection box which supports high-quality 4K HDR pictures, all while ensuring there are no wires ruining the minimal aesthetic of the TV.

LG has also packed it with Hyper Radiant Color Technology and Brightness Booster Ultra, which not only results in much richer colors as compared to normal OLED panels but also minimizes reflection. More importantly, it literally blends into a wall. LG has reimagined what it means to have a minimalist, modern TV.
