One of the ways through which Google improves its services is by gathering feedback from millions of its users. To make sure they receive a robust data, the search engine giant launched a survey app a couple of years that offers Google Play store credit in exchange of answers to a set of questions. It was limited to a certain number of countries, however, in the latest update, Google has made it available in India, Turkey, and Singapore as well.
The premise of the app is quite straightforward – you provide feedbacks through regular surveys and depending on the length, you are rewarded with credit that can be utilized for purchasing applications, movies, books and whatnot. The questionnaire is also kept relatively simple and takes only a few seconds to complete.
To get started with Google Opinion Rewards, head over to the play store and download the app. If that doesn’t, you can always install the APK file.
Next, open up the app, skip or read the tutorials and sign in with your Google account. After this, you’ll be asked a series of personal questions such as your age, education, location so that Google knows what kind of surveys are relevant to you. Once that’s over, you will have to go through an initial setup process that will guide you on how to answer these questions and also, warn you not to just press any random options for more rewards. That’s it.
Now, whenever a survey is available, Google will send you a notification and based on that, provide Google play credit. The app, of course, is entirely free to download and definitely a must-have if you are constantly looking for new paid apps to try out. Unfortunately, the app is not available on iOS.
