Coolpad has added yet another smartphone to its budget portfolio. The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C is priced at Rs 7,777 and will be available starting from August 5. The device will be sold via offline stores across the country.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C comes fitted with a 5-inch HD display and is powered by the Quad-Core Snapdragon 210 Mobile Platform paired with 2 GB of RAM. On the storage front, the device offers 16 GB onboard memory expandable via a microSD card slot. The camera options on the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C include an 8-Megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash and F/2.4 and a 5-Megapixel secondary/selfie sensor.
The Fingerprint sensor is placed at the back and the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C will be made available in Grey and Gold color options. The device runs on Android Nougat flavored with the Cool UI on top and is backed by a 2,500 mAh battery. At first glance, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C might seem a little bit pricey as compared to the Xiaomi Redmi 4, but it scores some brownie points when it comes to the availability. The connectivity features on the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
According to Coolpad, the Note 5 Lite C will be available offline across more than 3000 multi-brand stores in India. That being said if you are looking out for a smartphone in the sub 8K price range that offers the best of hardware than the Redmi 4 is the safest bet.
