The war between telecom operators in India takes a new turn each day with operators providing various benefits with specific plans in order to lure customers to make the switch to their network. Operators who earlier had absurd pricings for mobile data, have now resorted to follow Reliance Jio’s footsteps of offering value for what the customers pay. Speaking about Reliance Jio, to counter Airtel’s move to provide 1GB additional data per day on recharge of Rs. 149 and Rs.399 packs, Jio has announced a revised version of a few of its plans, offering 1.5GB per day of additional data for all daily recurring recharges in the month of June.
- 3GB per day for 1.5GB per day data pack users – Rs 149, 349, 399, 449
- 3.5GB per day for 2GB per day data pack users – Rs 198, 398, 448, 498
- 4.5GB per day for 3GB per day data pack users – Rs 299
- 5.5GB per day for 4GB per day data pack users – Rs. 509
- 6.5GB per day for 5GB per day data pack users – Rs 799
There’s already an offer which gives users a cashback of Rs. 100 on recharge of Rs. 399 or above through the MyJio app when the payment method is selected as PhonePe. Today the company has extended the offer to recharges of Rs. 300 and above instead of Rs. 399. They are also offering an additional 20% discount on recharges below the Rs. 300 price point, if the user recharges through the MyJio app and pays using PhonePe wallet. With this offer, the Rs. 149 pack will effectively cost Rs. 120 only with 3GB per day of data, free voice calls, SMS and Jio Apps for 28 days.
This additional data offer is for a limited period only and will be available starting today, the 12th of June 2018 from 4PM up to 30th June 2018.
