Jabra, a well-known brand when it comes to audio equipment, has launched its latest pair of wireless in-ear headphones in India, the Jabra Elite 45e. The headphones will be available for purchase from the 22nd of June through Amazon if you want to make the purchase online, or in Croma and other Jabra authorized retail stores if you prefer buying the headphones offline. The headphone will retail for Rs. 7,499 and will come with two years of warranty. Since the headphones are Bluetooth enabled, they are expected to work with a wide range of devices from smartphones to tablets and computers.
The Jabra Elite 45e is a mid-range pair of headphones which sits exactly between the slightly more premium Jabra Elite 65t which are truly wireless, and the more affordable Jabra Elite 25e. The headphones also sport dual microphones to help with better audio during calls.
In terms of design, the Jabra Elite 45e comes with a soft neckband-style design with an in-line remote and microphone on the right side. The headset is compatible with voice assistants like Amazon’s Alexa or Siri or Google Assistant, which can be activated directly using the remote when paired with a compatible smartphone. The headphones also feature dedicated, customizable audio profiles and an equalizer using the Jabra companion app on your smartphone which enhances the listening experience. The battery life on these headphones is claimed to be about eight hours which isn’t something impressive given the neckband style design and the fact that Jabra’s own Elite 25e headphones offer a battery life of up to eighteen hours on a single charge. The headphones are IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.
The design, as well as features of these headphones, seem similar to the OnePlus Bullets Wireless we reviewed, however, the price of the Bullets Wireless is almost half of what the Jabra Elite 45e will cost you. The difference in audio quality might be the deciding factor here, but with a solid balance of crisp audio at an attractive price, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless seems to have stolen the limelight from the competition.
