Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerators Launched in China
Xiaomi has today launched four new smart refrigerators under its Mijia brand in its home country, China. With the new refrigerators, the company expands its portfolio of ecosystem devices that include products from a wide range of categories like home appliances, smartphones, IoT devices, and more. The newly launched refrigerators come in four different capacities: 160L, 210L, 483L, and 486L, targeting people with different needs.
In terms of design, all four models have tempered glass shelves along with LED lights to illuminate the interior. Out of the four models, the two high-end models include a display panel that mounted on the front door to allow users to monitor the temperature and control various settings easily. Further, the two entry-level models come with the traditional 2-door design found on most refrigerators, whereas, the two high-end models offer a 3-door design, which specifically targets people with large families. The high-end models also come with Xiao AI voice assistant, which can be used to perform various functions with simple commands.

The Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerators come in four capacities: 160L, 210L, 483L, and 486L, priced at CNY 999 (~USD 140 / INR 9,980), CNY 1599 (~USD 225 / INR 15,987), CNY 1999 (~USD 281 / INR 19,975), and CNY 2999 (~USD 422 / INR 29,968) respectively. It will go on sale in China starting October 15. To attract more customers, the company will offer a 3-year warranty to buyers who order the refrigerator during the first sale.
