Instant Brands, a popular American small appliances brand which has been an Amazon top-seller for years, has today made its way into the Indian market with the launch of a smart electric multi-use pressure cooker, the Instant Pot Duo 60 which has been customized for Indian kitchens. The company says the Duo 60 is a 7-in-1 programmable cooker that can replace seven of the prominent kitchen appliances with its multiple functions.
The Instant Pot Duo 60 has a 3-ply bottom stainless steel design that makes the inner pot durable and has no health concerns with its non-stick coatings. To monitor the pressure and temperature of the cooker and keep the heating intensity and time under check, the cooker comes with an embedded microprocessor that does all the heavy lifting.
As already mentioned, the Duo 60 us a 7-in-1 programmable cooker, which can perform multiple functions of a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté, yogurt maker and warmer. In a nutshell, it performs most of the functions that would otherwise require a dedicated appliance. Thus, allowing users the freedom to replace their dedicated appliance with a single cooker. Besides the ability to perform multiple functions, the cooker also comes with 13 built-in smart programs that claim to offer a better cooking experience, along with the ability to cook dishes like soups, rice, oatmeal, etc.
